Description
The CommScope NETCONNECT NPP-6-DM-1U-24 is an unshielded Category 6 distribution module patch panel. It has 24 RJ45 ports and takes up a single 1U space in a 19-inch rack. It suits network cabinets and server rooms where structured cabling is terminated at the rack.
Each cable punches down onto IDC terminals at the back, wired to T568A or T568B, and a rear cable management bar holds the runs in place. CommScope states that the panel complies with IEEE 802.3bt (Type 4) recommendations for power over LAN cable when installed according to ISO/IEC 14763-2, CENELEC EN 50174-1 and -2, or TIA TSB-184-A.
